Okay so there's this guy, he's not a friend of mine, maybe not even acquaintance really, but anyway. I he was in my group of friends. which I'm no longer friends with when I realized saying "fuck the world and the government" wasn't the coolest occupation to have. So yeah anyway. I met this guy at the station just now. (keep in mind this is the dumbest person I know) I said, "so where've you been going to school all this time?" "I've been everywhere" he said, this put me off edge. I had forgotten how incredibly idiotic he was.
and get this, it gets worse, when I said that I was still going to school he said, "are you gonna be one of those who work with papers all day then?" then I said, "no I plan on writing music." (eventhough it wasn't true, I just didn't want him to get violent or something) "Thanks," he said and chuckled. When my bus finally came after a long awkward silence (I'm not entirely sure he even picked up I stopped talking) I said "take care" and he responded with "I don't know how!" which is kinda his catchphrase I figure. Made me want to yell at him, I didn't though, only a little. I guess some people just don't give a shit about intellectuality or things other than beer and parties where he will probably never meet anyone interesting.

Going to Copenhagen!

My class is having a "field" trip to Copenhagen on wednesday, which is kinda sorta awesome. Our teacher got us into seeing the MTV-music awards pre-party, with all the biggest pop-stars of Denmark! I'm not a huge fan of pop music, but I still think an opportunity like this is pretty darn cool. We're going to the royal Danish musical conservatory to hear a masterclass, which will be cool. We're also doing other cool things, so yeah, it'll probably be an awesome trip.

If I were an alien

Okay, here it is. It's a crazy thought, but it was one I had on the train, and I was really bored, and- Nevermind..

If I Were an Alien


I figured, we are only like the dominant race because we are smart, right? I saw a horse on my way home and I thought: "It would suck if someone ordered me to haul them around.." Then I thought, "Well, if horses were smarter than us, we wouldn't be ordering them around, it would be the other way 'round." So if I were an Alien race contempt on making all humans my servants, it would be far too difficult, as things are, humans would rise up, fight for their freedom, and if they ever lost, they would never truly be undermined. So if you were ever gonna make humans servants, you first had to make sure that they wouldn't rise up, and I would do that by:

1) Inserting a serum into all women, altering their genes to make them super fertile, thus producing more servants.
2) Modify the genes of said women to make the children have an IQ of something like 80.
3) Wait as the older generation dies and watch as the newer, dumber, people become the leaders and the general populous.

Now people are too stupid to fight against their alien overlord.

That's how I would do it. and I guess someone would probably want me to see a shrink, but the next time you pet your dog, cat or other pet, keep in mind that the only reason it's not petting you, is because you're smart.

Walls

My bed is up against a wall, so naturally, I sometimes sleep against it. But then I stop and think "there could be more spiders like the huge one." I don't like my room anymore.

Habits

I guess I never really got the habit of blogging, there is some inherent narcissism about it.. Why should anybody care about what I write?

A friend of mine was reading some more or less famous person's (I certainly hadn't heard of him) blog. He said "why is he so self-absorbed? And why is writing in English? He's Danish" I said "well I have a blog, which I write in English, and I'm Danish too."
When he asked me why, I said that I treat this as a writing exercise, and I don't care too much if people are reading or not. Sure it would be nice to have my thoughts be appreciated, but it's not a necessity. So am I narcisistic? I don't think i'm better than everyone, I don't think I'm all that interesting, but in a way, if I can share my thoughts, and in the meantime use English some more, that'd be great.. After all, I do plan on moving to the states when I'm older.

So yeah, if this turns out to be a habit of mine, I'm not really concerned.

What's New

A lot of things have happened since I last blogged: I went to a small island off the west-coast of Denmark, I had the flu, I lived at my grandparent's to caretake their dog, and a ton of other things..

Perhaps it's been so long because I haven't had the need for sharing my thoughts and stuff like that, but I got this nifty app for my iPhone and I thought that now was as good a time as any to update..
